Deny You

Lord's Day Worship - July 21, 2019

I in them and thou in Me. Are we to live the dream or deny the ‘dream?’ We are to deny our dream, deny ourself. We give up our dream so we can bear our cross. The world has success for you - but not the cross of Jesus. Deny you to enter God’s kingdom. The Holy Ghost comes not for your dreams, but to get you in God’s kingdom. Take up your cross. Rise, shine, give God the glory, love people and witness. Many are preaching the religion of the American dream. Give up the physical and seek the spiritual. There is no cross in the world. The cross is in God’s kingdom and you have to give up something to get in there. You have to give up you. There is going to be a judgement. If you have ‘money in religion’, you don’t have the Holy Ghost. Don’t love money. Deny you. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 1 John 5:19   And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 2 Tim 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. Matt 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Matt 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Rom 12:1   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 1 Pet 1:24-25 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (future lesson) Rev 18:1-2 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
