3 things we must have: 1 - A well made-up mind 2 - love Him with all our heart, mind & soul 3 - be willing to do what He says John 8:32 - …ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Matt 15:8 - This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoreth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. Isa 29:13 - …this people draw near Me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor Me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the precept of men Heb 11:6 - …must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. you have to have a well made-up mind to follow God your mind has got to be on nothing but Jesus when a person sets out to follow Christ, the devil is going to get after them if you have faith in God, can't nothing change you Gal 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. This is what's going to save us: when we believe God People say they are saved, but still sin John 4:24 - God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Rom 8:8 - …they that are in the flesh cannot please God. We have to be in the Spirit Obey God's word, and Jesus will manifest Himself in us Know His Word is real Whatever happens, we thank God Prov 16:7 - When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Peace & joy is not in the world, Peace & joy is only in Christ To get the peace of Christ, we must obey Jesus When trial & tribulations come, do not lose site of God You have to make the change, you have to want to make the changes Luke 14:26 -  If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. Hate the life that we were living (of the world) God knows our hearts, when we are honest & sincere Pray to Him, and He will answer our prayers James 1:5-8 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. We are grateful to God We suffer, but are blessed through our suffering God loves us If we have Christ, we have nothing to worry about Everything we need is in Christ Love one another, treat people right Worship the Creator, God is good, don't worry, serve God, help people, let our light shine God's Spirit gets in us, the Spirit keeps us To have the Spirit, we must obey God John 14:21 - He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him. John 14:23 - …If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode with him. If God & Christ are in you, how can the devil get there? Trust in God 1 Peter 3:13 - ...who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? John 14:1 - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
