Do What GOD Says

LORD's Day Worship - March 1, 2020

…prepare to meet thy God… (Amos 4:12) God is a good God, without Him we can do nothing God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) Be ready Serve Him in the spirit Take on Christ’s ways Think about your soul Serve God in the spirit …love the Lord thy God with all thy heart…soul…mind…strength… (Mark 12:30) Believe in God and His way …they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Rom 8:8) We can't serve and follow God without doing what He says We must have a well made-up mind The devil deceived the first people, and has been deceiving the whole world ever since We will go through trails and tribulations God is with us There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Cor 10:13) We must give up our ways to get God's ways Do what the Word says No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. (Luke 9:62) Do all God says for us to do God put the devil out of heaven...can't nothing else get in there that's contaminated …all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags… (Isaiah 64:6) We have to go through Christ …I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2) …I will come again, and receive you unto Myself… (John 14:3) For Christ to receive us, we have to have His Spirit in us ...in order to get His Spirit, we have to do exactly what the Word says Be sorrowful and hate the sinful life Have a well made-up mind to never sin... then God will give you whatever you need to live His life Anybody that's not born again, the devil has access to them The devil tricks us...without God, there is no help for us You can't out-wisp the devil,...but God can! Let His will be done …many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. (Matt 19:30) Get our house in order Our soul must be right with God And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matt 7:23) Obey God’s Word To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life…(Rev 2:7) …not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. (John 13:10) LOVE ONE ANOTHER (John 13:34, 13:35, 15:12, 15:17, Rom 12:10, 13:8, Gal 5:13, Eph 4:2, 1 Thess 3:12, 4:19, Heb 10:24, 1 Peter 1:22, 3:8, 1 John 3:11, 3:23, 4:7, 4:11, 4:12, 2 John 1:5) Do what God says We can't save ourselves Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matt 5:44) ...forgive, if ye have ought against any (Mark 11:25) …all things work together for good to them that love God… (Rom 8:28) We're going to have trails and tribulations We're blessed if we do ...or if we don't have trails and tribulations Give thanks Praise the Lord always Trust in the Lord Trails and tribulations won't stop a child of God I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD…(Psalms 121:1-2) …observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. (Matt 28:20) The Lord…is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) Obey God …flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God…(1 Cor 15:50) Obey God and do exactly what He says and receive His Spirit Do exactly what the Scripture says and receive the Spirit of God Live the life Christ said for you to live...and receive His Spirit Live free from sin Do what God says to receive His Spirit I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. (John 14:6) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) God's will is for us to love one another, and to treat one another right Everybody that'll turn to Christ, He can save them Obey God to know Him Just going to church and doing "the best we can" won't save us in the day of judgment Obey God If Christ suffered, we got to arm ourselves likewise …as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin (1 Peter 4:1) …obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29)  The blessing of the LORD…He addeth no sorrow with it. (Prov 10:22) …I am the LORD…is there any thing too hard for me? (Jer 32:27) God is there to help us, He promised He would help us, Obey Him, Love one another, Do the things He said to do
