And they brought unto Him also infants, that He would touch them: but when His disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But JESUS called them unto Him, and said, suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the Kingdom of GOD. Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of GOD as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. (Luke 18:15-17)
…that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of GOD. (Luke 16:15)
And He spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, GOD, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. (Luke 18:9-13)
JESUS possesses us
…the tempter came to Him, he said, If Thou be the Son of GOD, command that these stones be made bread. (Matt 4:3)
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (Luke 18:14)
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)
And thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (Mark 12:30)
We love Him, because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:6)
For David speaketh concerning Him, I foresaw the LORD always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved (Acts 2:25)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:He leadeth me beside the still waters. (Psalms 23:1-2)
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me…. (Psalms 23:4)
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:7)
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded. But ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof; I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; (Proverbs 1:24-26)
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon Me, but I will not answer; they shall seek Me early, but they shall not find Me: for that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: they would none of My counsel: they despised all My reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. (Proverbs 1:24-31)
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. (Psalms 118:8-9)
We got to love one another
