GOD Loves, GOD Saves
LORD's Day Worship - April 19, 2020
No matter what happens, we give thanks
GOD is not a GOD that wants to destroy
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For GOD so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:14-16)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
For GOD sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of GOD. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:17-19)
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. (Acts 2:40)
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your FATHER which is in heaven. (Matt 5:16)
…choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 24:15)
…wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matt 7:13-14)
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; (Acts 2:41-44)
...ye know the house of Stephanas...that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints (1 Cor 16:15)
…Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk (Mark 2:9)
Faith, Trust, Hope, Righteousness
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (Heb 12:1)
…endure hardness, as a good soldier of JESUS CHRIST. (2 Tim 2:3)
