“Godliness Is A Mystery”

It’s good to be humble

For a day in THY courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my GOD, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalms 84:10)

Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. (Proverbs 15:17)

For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

The HOLY GHOST is the One in charge of the Gospel - the Power behind the message

we are just witnesses

Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. (Luke 8:12)

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. (Luke 8:15)

A good heart would never stop

Save yourself

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. (1 Tim 4:16)

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of GOD, which is the church of the living GOD, the pillar and ground of the truth. (1 Tim 3:15)

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your FATHER which is in heaven. (Matt 5:16)

It is behavior

It is character

that makes the Christian

(like CHRIST)

(witnesses)

Whosoever is born of GOD doth not commit sin; for HIS seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of GOD. (1 John 3:9)

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh, justified in the SPIRIT, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Tim 3:16)

We are regenerated because we are born through CHRIST...and that is godliness

there are no children of GOD that is in sin

People got to know how to live

...to know what godliness is

...to know where we should go

...to know when we should go

...when we should stay

...when we should talk

...when we should be quiet

…study to be quiet, and to do your own business… (Thessalonians 4:11)

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house (Matt 24:17)

How long?...

...not long

And JESUS came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto ME in heaven and in earth. (Matt 28:18)

These things I have spoken unto you, that in ME ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

…when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. (Matt 6:5)

Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets. (Proverbs 22:13)

I can do all things through CHRIST which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13)

And Peter answered HIM and said, LORD, if it be THOU, bid me come unto THEE on the water. (Matt 14:28)

When JESUS tells you to do something - go ahead and do it

For whether we live, we live unto the LORD; and whether we die, we die unto the LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the LORD’s. (Romans 14:8)

For to this end CHRIST both died, and rose, and revived, that HE might be LORD both of the dead and living. (Romans 14:9)

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, write, blessed are the dead which die in the LORD from henceforth: yea, saith the SPIRIT, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. (Rev 14:13)

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest…(Exodus 23:12)

His lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Matt 25:23)

And JESUS said unto him, no man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of GOD. (Luke 9:62)

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Heb 9:27)

Death don't give you no warning

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of CHRIST. For it is written, As I live, saith the LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to GOD. (Romans 14:10-11)

Everything that man has put as a god is gonna fail

…the Word is gone out of MY mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto ME every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. (Isaiah 45:23)
