GOD IN US


Christ Church Worship - June 28, 2020

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Proverbs 16:7)

Be ready

And thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (St. Mark 12:3)

This people draweth nigh unto ME with their mouth, and honoreth ME with their lips; but their heart is far from ME. (St. Matthew 15:8)

Love GOD
obey HIM

But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (St. Matthew 5:44)

obey GOD; do what HE says
GOD knows our hearts

For it is written, As I live, saith the LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to GOD. (Romans 14:11) 

trust in GOD
let GOD fight our battles for us

have a willing mind

seek to please GOD

GOD wants all of our time
to love HIM with everything we got

If any man come to ME, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be MY disciple. (St. Luke 14:26)

if we want to please GOD
we have to obey HIM

GOD is not destroying us
we're destroying ourselves

He that believeth on the SON hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the SON shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD abideth on him. (St. John 3:36)

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the Kingdom of CHRIST and of GOD. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of GOD upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. (Ephesians 5:3-7)

GOD loves us
we will suffer

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of GOD in CHRIST JESUS concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

…all things work together for good to them that love GOD... (Romans 8:28)

GOD cares for us
we have to please HIM

trust in GOD
love one another
be ready
believe HIM
obey HIM
don’t go to the right or to the left

have JESUS’ SPIRIT
have GOD’s SPIRIT

do what Scripture says
keep GOD’s Word

JESUS answered and said unto him, If a man love ME, he will keep MY words: and MY FATHER will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (St. John 14:23)

GOD is in us 
HE stays in us
the devil can’t get HIM out

And this will we do, if GOD permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the HOLY GHOST, and have tasted the good Word of GOD, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the SON of GOD afresh, and put HIM to an open shame. (Hebrews 6:3-6)

obey GOD
do everything GOD says to do

a mind to serve GOD
obey GOD
don’t be troubled
rejoice
thank GOD

we will have trials and tribulations
GOD always makes a way
GOD is good

turn to GOD
let GOD fix it
change your life
come to GOD

obey GOD
do what GOD says

we will have trials and tribulations
live in this world, but not of this world
serve HIM

give up
LOVE
trust in GOD

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psalms 118:8)

obey GOD
please GOD
have a willing mind

we reap what we sow
good deeds = reap good

GOD is good
choose to follow GOD
hear and obey 
obey GOD

there are two ways
obey GOD
obey HIM
do what GOD tells us to do

CHRIST offers us the tree of life
accept CHRIST

have a well made-up mind
endure to the end

pray
trust in the LORD
love one another
be ready when JESUS comes

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (St. Matthew 16:26)

GOD is good
faith and hope

For by one offering HE hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (Hebrews 10:14)

…this commandment which I have commanded thee this day…It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? (Deuteronomy 30:11-12)

LOVE has no commandment
if Love had to have a commandment, then it would be conditional

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23)

be CHRISTian
want JESUS
hold fast
be right
do what is right
pray

but the LORD was not in the wind…not in the earthquake…not in the fire:
and after the fire a still small voice. (1 Kings 19:11-12)

listen
pray
pray that people repent
we love you

GOD is good
obey GOD
be ready

THE BROTHER IS FREE!
