A Call to Heaven - Eternity Eternal (Believing All The Way - Not Doubting)
The Great Bible Study - Feb 27, 2020
A willing, ready mind!
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of GOD, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23)
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us… (John 1:14)
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: but the Word of the LORD endureth for ever. And this is the Word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (1 Peter 1:24-25)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:6-8)
For whatsoever is born of GOD overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that JESUS is the Son of GOD? (1 John 5:4-5)
I am crucified with CHRIST: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but CHRIST liveth in me… (Gal 2:20)
that we should be called the sons of GOD...it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him...(1 John 3:1-2)
This is He that came by water and blood, even JESUS CHRIST; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the FATHER, the WORD, and the HOLY GHOST: and these three are one. (1 John 5:6-7)
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD of GOD, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23)
…behold the Lamb of GOD, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Cor 4:18)
The greatest evidence of this: when you cannot sin
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of GOD, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. (2 Cor 5:1-4)
But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn. (Job 14:22)
The greatest way to understand this: when a person cannot sin
Now He that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is GOD, Who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the LORD: (For we walk by faith, not by sight: (2 Cor 5:5-7)
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of GOD. (John 3:3)
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1:4)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the LORD. Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. (2 Cor 5:8-9)
That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of CHRIST JESUS. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in CHRIST JESUS. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, GOD shall reveal even this unto you. (Phil 3:10-15)
But we speak the wisdom of GOD in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which GOD ordained before the world unto our glory: (1 Cor 2:7)
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world…that come to nought: but we speak the wisdom of GOD in a mystery…GOD hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit (1 Cor 2:6-7, 10)
